Aaron has also been rocking on his hands and knees lately. He is starting to get the idea of how to coordinate it all, so he can actually move and go faster than what he is doing now; which is army man style; pull with the arms, kick with the feet....propel myself forward...cry and get picked up!

Toothy grin
Here is Aaron with his toothy smile. His first 2 teeth broke through in March, his seventh month. That is the earliest of all our kids. He sure is enjoying chewing on things with more texture....

Happy St. Paddy's Day!
I hope no one got pinched yesterday. Everyone here was wearing some sort and something green. Evan even received 2 golden chocolate coins at the end of his preschool, thanks to another mothers good planning. We celebrated with our traditional green dinner.
We had green beans, green mashed potatoes (I went all out and also made gravy), green lettuce salad, Irish potato bread (Evan loved that) and a crockpotted roast, with green limeade to drink. For dessert we enjoyed mint chocolate ice cream. It was a hit and very fun to do.
Back to the park...
Well the weather was beautiful a few days ago and Spencer ventured out with the boys after dinner (thanks to day light savings) to the park that is close to us. I sent Megan out as my official photographer to take some pictures of Aarons first swing ride.
My boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves and when they came home they warmed up in a nice bath. Very soon we'll be able to have more outside experiences for the 2010 season! Hooray!

Said Evan...
I surely hope that all prayers are recorded in heaven, so one day we'll be able to listen to them again. Children say the best prayers, especially when they really try. I heard a good one in Primary the other day, it had the adults smiling.
Evan is the official opening prayer for our FHE. It was really good. If I try to prompt him, he immediately says, "I don't need any help!" "Ok, sorry", I say. Some of the things that he said that was cute yesterday include, "thanks that daddy can be home, and that we can have cake, help me not to hit and thank you for my friends." He is in his own small, innocent little world. BTW- we had angel food cake with whipped cream and strawberries for dessert.

Drum roll please....
No this isn't a post about the Oscars....we went bowling on Friday. There is a mom and pop bowling alley(5 pin) close to our place that we visited. We were able to have bumpers put up which made a small difference in all our scores. Evan began and took the lead for several rounds, much to Megan's dismay. Then Spencer took the lead and in the end it was Evan with 93 points, Megan with 122, Cathy with 117 and Spencer with a 108 (i'm sure that he would blame a low blood sugar on that score. I'll take it, since I was able to pass him on the score board.) Last time we bowled it was while I was still pregnant and I'm quite sure that lady luck was on Evans side because he broke 100! Evan is quite enjoyable to watch bowl. He s-l-o-w-l-y sends each of his bowling balls down the lane. They bump from one side to the other only to knock the pins down. His balls were rolling so slowly that he even lost patience and started to roll his other bowling balls before the first one reached the pins. A couple of times his ball stopped cold, right in front of the pins...then Megan got to bowl and was able to knock the ball and pins down.
One game of bowling is enough for us. We had fun and it was nice to get out.

Girlfriend
Aaron has found himself either a girlfriend...or someone he can slobber on who doesn't complain...
