Surviving Teacher's Conference

Yes, every mother's nightmare...having your kids home from school....well I survived. We got the van fixed one day and while that was being done I took the kids to the movies. Then ran some errands and made homemade doughnuts the next day. Beside my kids are starting to get the sniffles or worse...so being at home wasn't so bad.

To make these doughnuts...you buy the pillsbury biscut package. Flatten the dough slightly and cut a small hole in the middle. Fry in hot oil, until golden brown. Let your children sprinkle massive quantities of powdered sugar on doughnuts.

A fun , cheap activity and this recipe gets two thumbs up from these guys. They actually tasted pretty good. No Crispy Creme...but close!
